TotalCloud Inventory Actions: Giving a new meaning to Cloud Inventory
Cloud Inventory has always been about fetching details about your cloud services and resources and presenting it to you in a standard report format. With your cloud infrastructure becoming more complex and layered, maximizing visibility into your architecture has become extremely important. There are multiple tools that report all your cloud assets for you, including TotalCloud. You can also apply custom filters, group resources based on parameters and create customized inventory reports.
But we went a step ahead to make this inventory dashboard equivalent to your cloud provider’s SDK - and added Inventory Actions. Once you see all your resources, you can practically take any action on the detected resources right from the dashboard. Since we support every cloud resource & API, every possible action becomes available - in a simple dropdown format.
Let's say you see all your EC2 instances and wish to reboot them in real-time, you can simply select ‘reboot instances’ from the drop down menu and run the action. Learn more about how it works here.
With the complexity of multiple clouds and accounts coming into play, being able to carry out desired actions in a single-click format becomes extremely helpful. You can try out Inventory Actions on your cloud with a 15-day free trial.
